Rolex Milgauss-116400GV The Rolex Milgauss has a unique history that makes it standout from all the other Rolex watches. It was developed as a tool watch for scientists in the 1950s who needed a watch that could stand up to magnetic fields. It became something of a forgotten watch, and certainly not one anybody thought would be plucked from obscurity. But then in 2007, it happened! Rolex Sea-Dweller-126600 In 2017, Rolex celebrated the 50th anniversary of their dive watch, with the new 126600 Sea-Dweller. One of the key attributes that we have grown to love about Rolex, is that they are subtle with their changes, this is a key core strength in designing a timeless wristwatch. So for example, a Submariner from the 70s looks just as good as a current production Submariner. So with the Sea-Dweller the most notable change was the larger 43mm case (replacing the discontinued SDK4K that was 40mm). The other key change was the re-introduction of the red font on the dial, this is nice nod to the original 1967 sea-dweller. This is the perfect watch for someone who’s has or had a Submariner or SD4K and wants something with a little more wrist presence. Also, historically speaking, we know that anniversary releases make great investments over the long term, so this is definitely a classic in the making!

Rolex Explorer-124270 The Rolex Explorer is considered by many as an iconic watch! However, of all the steel sports Rolex models, it is probably the most understated and subdued sports watch, but isn’t that what makes it great! The Rolex Explorer has been a mainstay of the brand’s line-up since 1953, when it was introduced following the successful expedition to the peak of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Omega Seamaster Diver 300M -212.30.41.20.01.003 The Seamaster 300 has always been a special watch for Omega.  It was first introduced in 1957 as Omega’s first-ever professional divers’ watch and it was the first Omega to feature a rotating bezel to measure diving times.  Over time, Omega has improved both the aesthetics and performance.  They maintained the 41 mm case diameter of the previous generations but with a thinner bezel that leaves more space to the dial.    So if you are looking for a solid everyday watch or a one watch type of guy, this is definitely a highly recommended piece.

Bvlgari Octo Finissimo 'Middle East' Limited Edition-103023 This rare Bulgari Octo Finissimo 40mm Automatic Middle East edition is a limited edition of 100 pieces with green lacquer "Eastern Arabic" numerals on a sandblasted titanium dial. A 2017 GPHG Men's Watch prize winner, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo had the thinnest selfwinding movement at 2.23mm, thanks to a Bulgari manufacture automatic caliber BVL138. A power reserve of 55 hours ensures amble autonomy, and the platinum 950 micro-rotor on ceramic crown ensures an extremely efficient winding. Bvlgari Bvlgari-102396 BB41C3SSD Most of us associate Gerald Genta with the AP Royal Oak, Patek Nautilus and the Bvlgari Octo, did you know though that the Bulgari Bulgari was also inspired by Genta?  In contrast to the other watches mentioned above, the Bulgari Bulgari does not use a polygonal face or integrated bracelet, instead he opted for a more minimalist and classical looking dress watch!  In 1977 Genta was actually tasked with reinterpreting the quartz Roma into a mechanical piece for the larger luxury market, which would become the Bulgari Bulgari.  Of the modern piece’s similarities to its 1970s original, the design channels the original’s minimalist Bauhaus influences in dial layout, maintains its most distinctive outer engravings, and continues to favor an automatic caliber.

Bvlgari Octo Roma -102856 Launched in 2017, the Octo Roma should not be confused with the Octo Finissimo, although they both look very similar.  The Octo Roma is the softer, more mellow interpretation of the octagonal and circular shapes that all Octos follow. It is also positioned as less complex, featuring a slightly simpler case and a sportier look. Next to that, it’s a bit more affordable as well, However, it is by no means any less ‘Bvlgari’!

Baltic Perpetual 'Limited Edition'-MR01 Baltic, a French micro-brand that specialises in watches with retro style launched this piece as a 3rd collaboration with Dubai-based retailer Perpétuel.  This time it’s a twist its best-selling micro-rotor wristwatch, the MR01.  This limited edition of 300 pieces includes several details that makes it even more special than the MR01.  None so more then the green dial with Eastern-Arabic numerals, at such an affordable price!

Girard Perregaux Laureato Heritage Limited Edition-81000-11-131-11A In 2016, to celebrate the brands 225th anniversary, GP brought back the iconic Laureato.  The Laureato was originally launched in 1975 and back then was deemed a competitor to the AP Royal Oak, due to the similar case design and the octagonal-shaped bezel.  The name ‘Laureato’ was apparently inspired by the iconic movie ‘The Graduate’, which in Italian translates to ‘Il Laureato’.   This model was launched as part of a limited edition of 225 pieces and marked a refreshing return to the original, but with a smaller case, slimmer profile and an attractive dial with a striking clous de Paris pattern.  Overall, with the recent hype around GP, this is your opportunity to own a limited edition future collectors piece that marked the return of the Laureato!

Jaquet Droz Hommage Londres 1774 -J002120101 Pierre Jaquet Droz founded his namesake company in 1738 as a manufacturer of automatons and watches mostly for the Chinese Emperor. The brand’s flagship timepiece arrived in 2002 in the Grande Seconde with its signature figure-eight dial layout. The 2010 Eclipse also proved another classic with its unique moon phase indicator. Since then, Jaquet Droz has been producing timepieces that are recognized by all globally!

Longines Spirit Zulu Time Blue Dial 42mm Steel-L38124936 The Zulu time is part of a sub-collection of 6 watches within the Spirit family. The name Zulu Time is a reference at the first Longines wristwatch to indicate a second time zone, the 1925 Zulu Time that was emblazoned with a Z-flag on the dial. Zenith El Primero A384 Revival Lupin the Third - Final Edition -95.L384.400/50.M384 This 50th anniversary revival is the third and final limited edition inspired by the iconic 1970s Japanese manga and anime series - Lupin the Third who wore a Zenith Chronomaster. The two face dial which bisects diagonally between the black and gilt dial of the first edition and the creamy-white "panda" dial of the second edition, was so difficult to make and led to a six month delay in production. The 37mm tonneau-shaped watch in titanium has been paired with a distinctively retro ‘ladder’ bracelet, originally designed by the famed bracelet maker Gay Frères, while the sapphire crystal caseback has been engraved with an image of Daisuke Jigen. Timex Q Hodinkee Limited Edition-TW2V66400JR | TW2U88000ZV Timex recently reissued an iconic watch from their 1970s back catalog, the "Q”. Sevenfriday P-Series-P3/04 Kuka SevenFriday was really born out of a gap in the market, the founder, Daniel Niederer, was a bit tired of the typical stuffy and stiff way the watch industry approached design, as well as how it sold watches.  He wanted to combine the efficiency of Japanese movements and Asian manufacturing with the refinement of European design, at an affordable price.  The result was a watch that was shaped like your old television, with a lugless design and a 47mm wide size.   The aim of the watch is not to take it too seriously, as you would do with maybe a hardcore tool watch.  They focus on the quality, looks and attention to detail.  So if the design appeals to you, you will find very few brands that can offer all the above at the same price point!

Officine Panerai Radiomir California -PAM00931 If you don’t already know the story, in 1935 the Royal Italian Navy approached Panerai and other watch manufacturers with the request of designing a watch resistant to extreme conditions while at the same time keeping exact time for the commandos of the First Submarine Group.  The prototype submitted by Panerai in 1936 was called Radiomir, from the name of the luminescent substance used for hands and indices. Panerai won the order of the Royal Italian Navy and, the first lot of watches, identified by the reference 3646, were supplied as in 1938  Inspired to that early reference, Panerai launched the Radiomir California 47 mm PAM931 in 2019, a new interpretation (produced several times in the past) characterized by the combination of Roman numerals, Arabic figures and hour markers standing out against a gold dial tinged in the tones of shaded brown.

Casio John Mayer x Hodinkee x G-Shock Trilogy-DW6900JM22-2CR | DW6900JM21-7 | DW6900JM20-8CR Hodinkee began this collaboration project with John Mayer and G-SHOCK in 2020 with the launch of the reference DW-6900 in December, in a cool dark grey color way. The watch sold out in minutes (and to this day is still the most sought after model of the three we have here today). In 21 & 22, Hodinkee followed it up with 2 more versions, both of which were inspired by John Mayer and sold out in minutes.   These G-SHOCKs stay true to the trilogy’s inspiration of classic 1980s Casio keyboards, and are still quintessentially G-SHOCK with their rugged rubber construction. Whilst most G-SHOCKS are made in China or Malaysia, all three of these beauties are manufactured in G-SHOCK’s factory in Japan.
