After the resounding success of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, there was always the question mark on whether AP had become a one-trick pony, and so it was with great anticipation that AP introduced the new line, Code 11:59 in 2019. It was met with mixed feedback, however, it is the tiny details in the construction of the AP Code 11.59 that makes it so special. Amongst these details are; the entire case and also the buckle are made of white gold. The lugs are skeletonized so you can see 360 degrees around the case. The strap is connected to the lugs and the buckle by screws, not spring bars. The interesting part is that the screws used are the same hexagonal white gold screws found on the bezels of Royal Oaks. Overall, the pictures alone don’t do it justice, we really recommend everyone to check it out in person, your opinion will surely change once in your hands! It may not be a mainstream watch today, but it will be a future hit once it starts to catch-on!
